Pokermania Everest: European Poker Cup
It's now official: the EPEC
Finale will take place in one of Europe's most prestigious holiday
destinations: Algarve in Southern Portugal. The
tournament will be run at the Vilamoura Casino with Thomas
Kremser as tournament director.

You don't want to miss the opportunity to be part of this full
three-day weekend experience of poker, sunshine and parties! It's
not only one of the biggest European freerolls with a 100,000 prize
pool, it's a big party!

A quick preview of the weekend:
Day 1: Friday, October 19
- Player's arrival.
- Swimming pool, beach, golf, nap, online poker...
- 8pm: Welcome party at the Casino - dinner plus open
bar until midnight and then the party continues at the
Black Jack disco right next door.
Day 2: Saturday, October 20
- Morning: sleep, aspirin, water, football...
- 4pm: Tournament starts!
- 8/9pm: Dinner break
- End of Day 2
Day 3: Sunday, October 21
- 12pm: Optional sports activities: football, volleyball
- 4pm: Day 3 starts
- 8pm: Dinner break
- Later that day: we will have our Everest Poker European Cup

What is the Everest Poker European Cup
(EPEC)?
The EPEC is a 100,000 freeroll, open to all European poker
players! We will be giving away the 100,000 at our live 2 day
finale in the beautiful Algarve, in warm and sunny Portugal in
October 19-21 2007.
200 players from
eligible European countries will each win a spot in the finale
by qualifying through our free online and live qualifications. These
qualification tournaments will run from May to August.
Each qualifying player will receive a prize package valued at
1,100. The 1,100 prize package includes a seat in the Everest
Poker European Cup worth 500, three nights of hotel accommodations
worth 300 and 300 (US$390) credited to your Everest Poker account
for travel expenses. (Everest Poker will book the hotel
accommodations for each player.)
How can I register for the live
qualification tournaments?
The following countries will have live qualification tournaments:
Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Sweden, Spain, Belgium, Norway,
Switzerland, Austria and Portugal. Players may only participate in
live qualification tournaments in the country in which they live.
You can register for the live qualifications through
www.everestpoker.net only.
- Step 1: Download and install from

- Step 2: Login using your existing Login Name and Password
- Step 3: Click on the Scheduled Tournaments tab
- Step 4: Select an event in your home country
- Step 5: Register for the event
You will be contacted by our live event organizer in order to
confirm your attendance.
When do online tournaments run?
Each country's online tournaments take place each week on the
same day at the same time from May through August.
For example, the All Europe online tournaments run every Friday @
19:00 GMT. Weekly satellites lead to the Online Qualifier on the
last Friday of each month, where 5 seats to our EPEC finale will be
awarded. Players must win their entry in the Online Qualifier
through one of the weekly satellites.
In addition, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy,
Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and United
Kingdom will have country-specific weekly satellites and a monthly
Online Qualifier. See the table below for the dates and times of
these tournaments.
Greece, Finland, Hungary and Poland will simply have 2 Online
Qualifiers each. Players from these countries may register directly
for the Online Qualifier.
Each Online Qualifier will award at least one prize package
valued at 1,100. The 1,100 prize package includes a seat in the
Everest Poker European Cup worth 500, three nights of hotel
accommodations worth 300 and 300 (US$390) credited to your Everest
Poker account for travel expenses. Please consult the table below

How can I register for the
online qualification tournaments?
You can register for the online qualifications through the
Everest Poker software:
- Step 1: Log-in to your account
- Step 2: Click on the Scheduled Tournaments tab
- Step 3: Click on the EPEC tab
- Step 4: Select the tournament for which you are eligible to
play
- Step 5: Entry only requires 10 Summit Points (learn about
our
Summit Points Program)
Terms and Conditions
- 10 Summit Points are required to register for the online
tournaments.
- Live events are free with no buy-in. However, some events
organized by Poker Associations may charge a nominal fee for
membership before players are allowed to participate.
- To participate in live or online tournaments, players must
have a valid Everest Poker account that is in good standing.
- Employees of Everest Poker or any online gaming company may
not participate nor may they win prizes in the EPEC.
- Participants agree that Everest Poker has the right to use
all participants' names or likenesses in any way Everest Poker
chooses for marketing or publicity.
- Participation in the Everest Poker European Cup is limited
to residents of specific European countries. Please consult the
details of the online qualifiers in the Everest Poker software
to determine your eligibility*. Everest Poker may offer similar
live tournament promotions in other geographic areas in the
future.
- A player may only win one EPEC prize package. The prize
package is non-transferable and non-exchangeable. If you win,
you must play or forfeit the prize package. Players will not be
compensated for subsequent prize package wins.
